Traditional Publishing

Guidelines

Writers: By Grace Enterprises, LLC is currently accepting manuscript submissions for chapter books and novels in all genres except horror.  Humor and fantasy is a plus, but good writing is always exciting.  We also like characters with challenges that make a difference and succeed.

  • Science fiction
  • Christian fiction
  • Graphic Novels
  • Mysteries/Thrillers (no horro

Chapter books 3,000 words or less, submit entire manuscript.  All others, submit chapters 1, 2 and last.
We are especially interested in chapter books for the mentally challenged in middle grade and high school with low word count dealing with middle and high school issues—older children’s easy readers.

Illustrators:  Send a minimum of 10 sample copies of your work to By Grace Enterprises, LLC. 
9515 Twin Oaks Dr., Manvel, TX 77578.  Samples will be kept on file indefinitely. No original art, please.

Due to the large amount of unsolicited material we receive, it can take up to eight weeks for a reply.

     The children at Van Alstyne Public Library were delighted by Pam Van Scoyoc's presentation of The Ballerina With Webbed Feet.  After Pam detailed the creative process, the selection of an illustrator, and the steps involved in publication of a book, she brought out the special ballet shoes.
